Cantech was formed to provide high quality kitchen canopies and their associated ventilation services, utilising the latest design technology and fabrication techniques already available to the company. Our aim is to provide a product that is designed to blend sympathetically with the style and look of the kitchen such that, when installed, it becomes the focal point of the room.

Design is vital to the success of Cantech and we are proud to be one of the major contributors to HVCA DW172 – the industry standard for the design and manufacture of Kitchen Ventilation Systems.

The Cantech range includes central island and wall mounted canopies, service consoles, water wash, fire suppression and odour control equipment. Whilst the Cantech range incorporates many standard features, each canopy may be customised to suit the individual requirements of the project.

Canopy sizes vary from the small, 0.9m x 0.9m condense canopy, to our largest to date, a 32m x 4m island canopy which, just to make things interesting, was in St. Petersburg, Russia!

Canopies can be manufactured in a variety of materials to ensure compliance with any specification and design requirement including:

• Stainless steel
• Copper
• Brass
• Epoxy polyester finishes

As well as a comprehensive design and manufacture service, Cantech also provide an on site installation service for the majority of their canopies.  Cantech are well aware of the problems associated with the installation of kitchen ventilation units and as such we employ a direct labour force who are experienced in dealing with all on site situations.

For further peace of mind Project Engineers manage the construction of all canopies and site supervisors ensure that the unit is installed on schedule, with the minimum of disruption to the client.

As with all Mansfield Pollard products, Cantech canopies are manufactured to ISO 9001 quality assurance certification.

Increased attention to the risk of fire in kitchen ventilation systems has brought fire rated ductwork into the Cantech portfolio. This product is available either as part of the package or on a stand-alone basis.
